Message to use the car for?

First off Welcome to TwinTurbo.net

Will the Z be your primary means of transportation?
Have you ever driven a car with over 300 HP before?
How mechanically inclined are when it comes to working on a car or do you just pay somebody else?
What are you plans for modifying the Z's performance? Drag racing, Auto cross, Drift, Show ECT?
What is you budget or are you one of the people who are lucky enough to have unlimited funds?

If The Z is going to be your dally driver then I would recommend a non turbo with a good clean bill of health. All service records regular fluid changes ect ect. You can ad on a few minor bolt on modifications to get a little more power out of the car like Intake, cat back exhaust, under drive pulley, ECU upgrade and that’s about it everything else is a pointless or a waist of funds and time on the NA.

Or

A bone stock TT in the same good bill of health. Learn how to drive the car before modifying it so you don’t kill your self or destroy the car.

Like what TTFairladyZ was saying spend your money making sure the car is up to par before spending your hard earned cash on mods. Mods are no good when your car go's down dew to mechanical failure. When purchasing a Z its important to get a PPI. Most dealers and service centers offer this it can run you as much as $200 so you may want to see if the seller will split the bill. Check to see if the fallowing items have ever been replaced. 60K, 120K timing belt change out, PCV valves and lines, fuel filter, fuel psi regulator, fuel dampener, O2 sensors, AAC lines, and yes you might be amazed that people don’t even know where the air filters are located so they never get changed. If you have any other questions fell free to ask. Take care --Tony
